When I meet someone for the first time, eventually the conversation turns to what I do for a living. After I explain that I am a coach, inevitably I’m asked “For what team?”. That’s when my coaching skills kick into high gear and I explain that my coaching has nothing to do with contact sports, but rather the sport of achieving your personal best.

Perhaps you’d like to change the way you conduct yourself in this crazy world by increasing your confidence and reducing your stress levels. Or perhaps you'd like to improve your communication skills with work colleagues, clients and friends. Maybe you’d like help tapping into your creative talents that you’ve been too afraid to touch. Or maybe you’d just like to reach some specific personal or business goals that you’ve been procrastinating about for a while. As your coach, I help you take ongoing action toward achieving your goals and successes. I guide your process of exploration and personal discovery while giving you the support and feedback needed to effect your desired changes. You’ll learn new techniques to motivate you daily and develop your self-esteem to unparalleled levels of confidence. I’ll teach you to overcome the issues that have been limiting your potential and holding you back from the ultimate you. You’ll experience less stress, make better decisions and improve your relationships with others.

During our coaching sessions I create a comfortable, relaxed environment where you can easily address the important areas of your life that you want to improve. The one-to-one nature of coaching means that learning is concentrated, so my approach is targeted in the most effective style designed just for you. In the first session we would explore “the big picture” of where you are at that moment and find out where you actually want to be so that I can develop the tools you’ll need to get there. Subsequent sessions will address what actions you have taken toward your goals and what you have learned from these actions. These sessions will also address what you need to do to successfully bring about changes in your life that will help rid the issues currently preventing you from achieving your goals. In our work together, I combine the technologies of Neuro-linguistic Psychology and hypnosis as needed. This proven process allows for a safe and accelerated learning time frame without stress. It lets you reflect on the strategies, skills and solutions that you are currently using while we promote fresh perspectives, creativity and resourcefulness to help develop the new and improved you. Basically, you keep what is working, discard what isn’t and develop new strategies to create success.

Coaching sessions are generally one hour long and the length of time between sessions depends on what best suits your needs. Most clients prefer the convenience of “tele-coaching”, but face-to-face sessions are also available. I have “tele-coached” many via phone and Skype with excellent results.
Some people choose life coaching to better themselves for personal reasons. For others, business coaching is requested by their employer to help them focus on company goals. These may be considered two different types of coaching, but in reality, the pathway to success is exactly the same in both.
